ElektroLink

About the project:

ElektroLink has been a collaborative initiative between OpenTech, Bron Innovation, and Linköping Science Park – IoT World, designed to support Swedish electronics SMEs in expanding internationally and engaging with Europe’s innovation ecosystems.

Throughout the project, Swedish companies participated in coordinated delegations to leading European industry events, including:

• Silicon Saxony Day (Dresden, Germany)
• EBSCON (Graz, Austria)
• EFECS (Malta)
• Minalogic Business Meetings (Grenoble, France)
  These activities provided companies with access to international business meetings, study visits, and structured networking opportunities, as well as financial and strategic support.

In total, the project supported 35 Swedish SMEs in exploring new markets, building partnerships, and strengthening their position within the European electronics and semiconductor ecosystem.

Project Outcomes

Through ElektroLink, participating companies have:

• Established new international contacts and partnerships
• Increased their understanding of European innovation ecosystems
• Gained insights into funding opportunities and collaboration frameworks
• Strengthened their readiness for international expansion

The project has contributed to reinforcing Sweden’s role in Europe’s electronics sector and fostering long-term collaboration across borders.
