At OpenTech, we have set out to help bridge the tech skills gap by championing the needs of our community and promoting initiatives aimed at closing the skills gap, both long-term and short-term.

Recruiting support

By providing access to our large community, we can amplify your recruitment efforts and help you reach an engaged audience of both tech professionals and students.

In addition to our own communication channels, we can also connect you with educational providers and recruiters to help you find qualified tech talent.

Talent attraction

Part of our mission is to position Skåne as an attractive region for tech talent to move to.

This is done by raising awareness through promotional work, being present at national and international fairs, and inviting our community to join us in being tech ambassadors for Skåne, too.

Future-proofing

We have long-standing collaborations with educational providers – such as universities, research institutes, higher vocational colleges, and upskilling/reskilling programmes.

Here, we act as the voice of our community and support the design of a tech-focused curriculum that is aligned with industry needs.

Upskilling staff

We promote lifelong learning initiatives and help your team continuously develop and upgrade their skills, for instance through course offerings, seminars, and network meetups.

This ensures that they remain updated and competitive in the fast-paced digital landscape.
