OpenTech is dedicated to making tech thrive, in southern Sweden and beyond. As a non-profit member organisation, we are owned by our members and provide a common ground to unite knowledge, interests, and networks.

What our members have in common

One of the great strengths of our member base is the range of focus areas and expertise within tech. However, there are a few things that all our members have in common and that we want all new members to share with us.

  > Tech + digitalisation. Your organisation has expertise in tech and/or see digitalisation and tech as a crucial part of your operations and strategy.

  > Local connection. Your organisation has employees in Skåne and/or significant business/operations in Skåne. You have a charter or willingness to contribute to the development of Skåne.

  > Innovation agenda. Your organisation has a strong innovation agenda and/or a willingness to explore innovation in cooperation with others.

  > Pay-it-forward mentality. Your organisation believes that sharing knowledge, building relationships, and mutual trust make us all stronger.

Who can apply?

OpenTech is open to organisations in Skåne contributing to tech development (as creators, as users, as advocates). This includes:

  > Companies of all sizes

  > Public entities

  > Universities and other institutions for higher education

  > Civil society, including NGOs and institutions for collaboration

Note that you apply for your membership as an organisation. When your organisation is approved as a member, all your employees based in Skåne are included in the membership and get full access to the OpenTech community and our offerings.
